Platform Terms and Conditions

1. About Us
1.1 We are STYLEGRID FZCO, License Number 30873, a company registered in IFZA, Dubai Silicon Oasis, United Arab Emirates, (trading as StyleGrid).
1.2 StyleGrid operates as a digital marketplace platform and does not act as a seller or agent of any seller. Purchases made through StyleGrid are direct transactions between the buyer and either:
(a) The brand selling its own inventory, or
(b) The curator reselling inventory from brands with which they have relationships.
1.2.1 StyleGrid does not verify, moderate, supervise, or endorse any relationship between curators and brands. All representations made by curators regarding their authority to sell or promote brand inventory are their sole responsibility.
1.3 StyleGrid facilitates these transactions by providing software for brands and curators to manage and display products but does not take responsibility for the sale, fulfilment, shipping, returns, or any post-sale customer service.
1.4 Marketplace Disclaimer
StyleGrid is a platform that allows brands and curators to list and sell products. StyleGrid is not responsible for the fulfilment of orders, shipping, refunds, or customer service related to any purchases.
By using the platform, buyers acknowledge that:
(a) The seller of any product is either the brand or the curator listing the product.
(b) All responsibility for order processing, stock availability, shipping, and product quality rests with the seller (brand or curator).
(c) Any issues related to defective products, delivery delays, or customer disputes must be resolved directly with the seller.
1.5 StyleGrid does not monitor, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or availability of any product listings on the platform. All such content is the sole responsibility of the respective seller (brand or curator). All sellers (whether brands or curators) are solely responsible for ensuring that their listings, product descriptions, and associated content are accurate, lawful, and compliant with all applicable consumer protection, intellectual property, and trade laws. StyleGrid accepts no responsibility for errors, omissions, or unlawful content provided by sellers.
1.6 We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content, product listing, or seller storefront on the platform, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, if we believe such content is inaccurate, unlawful, misleading, or otherwise violates our policies or applicable laws.
1.7 If you subscribe to any paid services offered by StyleGrid, all associated platform fees will be included within your subscription plan unless otherwise agreed in writing. StyleGrid reserves the right to revise subscription fees or fee structures from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to you in advance and will take effect from the start of your next billing period. Continued use of the platform after notification will constitute acceptance of the updated pricing.

3. These Terms
3.1 These terms apply to any purchases you make on our website. Please read these terms carefully before you place any orders on our site, as they set out important information about your and our rights and obligations. Please note that you must agree to these terms befaore you place your order.
3.2 For the purposes of these terms, you are a ‘consumer’ if you are buying products from our site as an individual for purposes wholly or mainly outside of your trade, business, craft or profession. You are a ‘business customer’ if you are buying products from our site for purposes relating to your trade, business, craft or profession. Some terms only apply to your order if you are a consumer and other terms only apply to your order if you are a business customer, so please make sure you read these terms carefully.
3.3 Any reference to ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ in these terms is to StyleGrid, and any reference to ‘you’ or ‘your’ is to the person placing an order on our site.
3.4 You must be at least 18 years old to place an order on our site. If you are a business customer placing an order on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to place such order for and on behalf of that business.
3.5 We may make changes to these terms at any time. However, the terms which apply to your order will be those in force at the time you submitted your order to us.
3.6 Please print out or save a copy of these terms and any emails from us for your records, as we will not save or file a copy for you. These terms are only available in English.

4. Orders
4.1 Please check your order carefully and correct any errors before you submit it.
4.2 Orders placed through StyleGrid are facilitated by the platform but completed directly between the buyer and the seller (brand or curator). StyleGrid does not process, confirm, or fulfil orders.
4.3 After you place your order, you will receive an acknowledgment email confirming that the order has been submitted. This does not mean that your order has been accepted. The seller (brand or curator) is responsible for confirming order acceptance and fulfilment.
4.4 The legally binding contract for the sale of goods is formed directly between you and the seller when the seller confirms and dispatches the order. StyleGrid is not a party to this contract. The seller is responsible for providing a shipping confirmation once the order has been dispatched.
4.5 If your order is not accepted, whether due to payment failure, unavailability of products, age restrictions, jurisdictional limitations, or pricing discrepancies then the seller will notify you directly using the contact details provided at checkout. The seller reserves the right to reject any order for any reason.
4.6 If you are purchasing bespoke or personalised products that require specific measurements or other customisation details, you are responsible for ensuring that the information provided is accurate. The seller is solely responsible for producing and delivering bespoke orders.
5. Availability
All orders are subject to availability. We cannot guarantee that any product will be available at any given time. In certain circumstances beyond our reasonable control, for example where there has been a change in law, we may need to stop selling certain products. If this happens and it affects your order, we will notify you by email, cancel your order and provide you with a full refund (including any delivery costs) if payment has already been taken.
6. Making Changes to Your Order
If you would like to make any changes to your order after you have submitted it, please contact us as soon as possible and we will let you know if it is possible to change your order.
7. Product Descriptions
7.1 Descriptions of our products are set out on our site.
7.2 Please read the product description carefully. Pictures and images of the products or their packaging on our site are for illustration purposes only. Your products and their packaging may vary slightly from those pictures or images.
7.3 We cannot guarantee that the colours displayed on your device will match exactly the appearance of your products. The colours of the products displayed on our site may vary depending on what device you are using and your settings.
7.4 All weights, sizes and measurements set out on our site are as accurate as possible but there may be a small tolerance of up to 1%.
8. Use Restrictions
8.1 If you are a consumer, you must use our products only for domestic and personal use. You must not use our products for commercial, business or resale purposes.
8.2 If you are a business customer, you must use our products only for internal business purposes. You must not use our products for resale purposes.
9. Prices
9.1 Prices for products displayed on our site are set by the respective seller (brand or curator). StyleGrid does not sell products directly and does not set or control pricing.
9.2 All prices are in pounds sterling (£) (GBP) and may or may not include VAT, depending on the seller’s applicable tax obligations. It is the seller’s responsibility to determine and apply any VAT or other relevant taxes. Delivery charges are also set by the seller and may vary. For information on delivery options and costs, please refer to the relevant seller’s policy.
9.3 Prices for products and associated delivery charges may change at any time at the seller’s discretion. Except as set out in clause 9.4 below, such changes will not affect existing confirmed orders.
9.4 If there has been an error regarding the pricing of a product listed by a seller, and this affects your order, the seller will attempt to contact you using the details you provided at checkout. You will be given the option to re-confirm your order at the correct price or to cancel the order. If the seller is unable to contact you, or if you choose not to proceed, the order will be treated as cancelled, and you will be notified by email.
10. Payment
10.1 Payments for purchases made on the StyleGrid platform are processed directly through the seller’s (brand’s or curator’s) own Stripe or chosen payment gateway. StyleGrid does not collect, hold, or process payments on behalf of any seller.
10.2 Accepted payment methods are determined by the seller and may include credit or debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other payment options available through the seller’s payment gateway. All payments must be authorised by the relevant payment provider.
10.3 Payment for an order is taken at the time of checkout, unless otherwise specified by the seller. If a payment is unsuccessful or cannot be processed, the order will not be confirmed, and the buyer will need to contact the seller or retry the payment.
10.4 Any refunds, chargebacks, or disputes regarding payment must be resolved directly with the seller. StyleGrid does not handle refunds or mediate payment disputes between buyers and sellers.
10.5 Stripe integrations and other payment processing settings are entirely controlled by the seller. Buyers should contact the seller directly for any payment-related queries, including refund requests and transaction disputes.
11. Delivery Dates and Costs
11.1 For information on delivery options and costs, please refer to the relevant seller’s (brand’s or curator’s) terms provided at checkout. StyleGrid does not deliver products and does not provide shipping services.
11.2 Delivery is solely the responsibility of the seller (brand or curator). All delivery options, shipping timelines, and associated costs are determined and managed by the seller. StyleGrid has no involvement in or responsibility for the shipping, handling, or delivery of products.
11.3 Any delivery times stated on the platform are estimates provided by the seller. StyleGrid does not guarantee delivery dates and is not liable for any delays, failed deliveries, or inaccurate delivery information.
11.4 Any issues relating to non-delivery, lost or damaged packages, or incorrect shipping addresses must be resolved directly with the seller. StyleGrid is not responsible for investigating or facilitating any delivery-related disputes.
12. Delivery
12.1 The responsibility for delivering an order lies entirely with the seller (brand or curator). StyleGrid does not ship products, manage logistics, or track deliveries.
12.2 Sellers are responsible for providing buyers with delivery details, including tracking information where applicable. Any communication regarding the status, delay, or failure of delivery must be directed to the seller.
12.3 Risk in the products passes to the buyer once the seller has dispatched the order in accordance with the delivery instructions provided at the time of purchase.
12.4 Once the seller has dispatched the order, the goods are classed as having been delivered. StyleGrid has no liability for any damage, theft, or loss occurring after dispatch by the seller.
12.5 Buyers should contact the seller directly for any delivery updates, missing parcel investigations, or delivery-related concerns. StyleGrid is not responsible for resolving delivery issues or providing delivery support.
13. Consumer Cancellation Rights
13.1 This clause applies only if you are a consumer. Please note that StyleGrid is a marketplace platform and not the seller of any products. All sales are made directly between you and the relevant seller (either a brand or a curator). The seller’s own terms and conditions apply to your order, including any rights to cancellation, return, and refund. StyleGrid is not responsible for and does not process cancellations, returns, or refunds.
13.2 Your right to cancel an order will be governed solely by the terms and conditions of the seller from whom you purchased the product. Please refer to the relevant seller’s cancellation and return policy before placing your order.
13.3 If the seller offers a right to cancel (for example, a 14-day cancellation period under applicable consumer law), you must exercise that right directly with the seller. Contact details for the seller are provided in your order confirmation.
13.4 Where cancellation is permitted, you may be required to return the product in new and unused condition, in its original packaging (where applicable), and within a specified timeframe. The seller may withhold any refund until the item is received or proof of return is provided.
13.5 You are responsible for ensuring that any returned products are packaged securely and returned in accordance with the seller’s instructions. Unless the item is faulty or misdescribed, you may be responsible for the cost of return shipping.
13.6 Any refund will be issued by the seller in accordance with their terms and conditions, to the original payment method used. StyleGrid does not issue refunds and does not hold or process customer payments.
14. Faulty Products (Consumers)
14.1 This clause applies only if you are a consumer. Please note that StyleGrid is an online platform that facilitates the sale of products between independent sellers (brands or curators) and buyers. StyleGrid is not the seller of any products listed on the platform and does not fulfil, inspect, or manage any orders. All issues relating to faulty, misdescribed, or non-conforming products must be dealt with directly between you and the relevant seller.
14.2 The seller of the product (whether a brand or curator) is legally responsible for ensuring that the product is as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. The contract for sale exists between you and that seller, and not with StyleGrid.
14.3 Depending on the seller’s own terms and your legal rights as a consumer, you may be entitled to the following:
- Up to 30 days: A full refund if the product is faulty.
- Up to six months: If the product cannot be repaired or replaced, a full refund in most cases.
- Up to six years: A partial refund if the product does not last a reasonable length of time.
14.4 This is a general summary of your rights and may vary depending on the seller’s terms and the specific circumstances. For further guidance, please visit the Citizens Advice website at www.citizensadvice.org.uk or call 0808 223 1133.
14.5 If your product is faulty or misdescribed, please contact the relevant seller directly using the contact details provided in your order confirmation. StyleGrid does not manage or accept responsibility for any such claims and cannot issue refunds or replacements on behalf of sellers.
15. Faulty Products (Business Customers)
15.1 This clause applies only if you are a business customer. Please note that StyleGrid is an online platform that facilitates transactions between independent sellers (brands or curators) and buyers. StyleGrid is not a party to the sale, does not fulfil orders, and is not responsible for the quality or condition of any products sold on the platform.
15.2 Any warranty relating to products purchased through the platform is provided solely by the relevant seller (brand or curator). StyleGrid does not give any warranty and is not liable for ensuring that products:
15.2.1 conform in any way to descriptions provided on the platform;
15.2.2 are free from material defects in design, materials, or workmanship; or
15.2.3 are of satisfactory quality within the meaning of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (or any other applicable legislation).
15.3 Any claims under a warranty, or relating to the quality or condition of a product, must be made directly to the relevant seller. The seller may, at their discretion and in accordance with their terms, repair, replace, or refund the product if it is found to be defective.
15.4 StyleGrid disclaims all warranties, conditions, and representations, whether express or implied (including those implied by statute, common law or otherwise), to the fullest extent permitted by law. This includes but is not limited to any warranties as to merchantability, fitness for purpose, or compliance with product descriptions.
16. Events Beyond Our Control
We are not liable to you if we fail to comply with these terms because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
17. Our Liability to Consumers
17.1 This clause applies only if you are a consumer.
17.2 StyleGrid is an online platform that facilitates transactions between independent sellers (brands or curators) and buyers. StyleGrid is not a party to the contract of sale and is not responsible for the performance of any seller, including product quality, delivery, returns, refunds, or compliance with consumer protection law.
17.3 If StyleGrid breaches these terms in relation to its platform services (for example, due to a failure to provide access or functionality as contractually agreed), we will only be liable for any direct and foreseeable loss or damage that you suffer as a result. A loss is foreseeable if, at the time these terms were entered into, it was either obvious that it would happen or both you and we knew it might happen.
17.4 StyleGrid will not be liable for:
- any loss or damage relating to the products or services of a brand or curator;
- any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss;
- any business-related loss or loss of opportunity, revenue, or goodwill;
- any loss or damage that was not foreseeable; or
- any loss or damage not caused by our breach of these terms or negligence in relation to the platform itself.
17.5 Our total liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total sum paid by you to StyleGrid for your current annual subscription period.
17.6 Any claim against StyleGrid in relation to its platform services must be notified to us in writing within 30 days of the date on which the event giving rise to the claim occurred. Claims notified after this period will not be accepted.
17.7 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.
18. Our Liability to Business Customers
18.1 This clause only applies to you if you are a business customer.
18.2 StyleGrid is an online platform that enables brands and curators to display, market, and sell their products directly to customers. StyleGrid is not a party to the sale, does not act as agent for any seller, and does not assume responsibility for the supply, quality, fitness for purpose, or delivery of any products. The contract of sale is between you and the relevant brand or curator, and any claims regarding the sale must be made directly to the seller.
18.3 If you have entered into a separate agreement with StyleGrid for platform services (such as a subscription), then our liability to you under or in connection with those services – whether in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation, breach of statutory duty or otherwise – is strictly limited to the total amount paid by you to StyleGrid in respect of your current annual subscription period.
18.4 Any claim relating to StyleGrid’s provision of platform services must be notified to us in writing within 30 days of the date on which the event giving rise to the claim occurred. No claims will be accepted after this period.
18.5 We shall not be liable to you for any:
18.5.1 consequential, indirect, or special losses; or
18.5.2 any of the following (whether direct or indirect):
(a) loss of profit;
(b) loss of opportunity;
(c) loss of savings, discount, or rebate (whether actual or anticipated); or
(d) harm to reputation or loss of goodwill.
18.6 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
(c) any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
19. Your Information
Any personal information that you provide to us will be dealt with in line with our Privacy Policy available here XXX, which explains what information we collect and hold about you, and how we collect, store, use and share such information.
20. No Third Party Rights
No one other than us or you has any right to enforce any of these terms.
21. Complaints and Customer Enquiries
21.1 StyleGrid is an online platform that enables independent sellers (brands and curators) to promote and sell their products. StyleGrid is not a party to any transaction between a customer and a seller, and we do not sell, supply, deliver, or process returns or refunds for any products listed on the platform.
21.2 StyleGrid provides support services exclusively to registered curators and brands who use our platform. We do not offer customer service or complaint resolution to individuals purchasing products from brands or curators via the platform.
21.3 If you are a customer and have any enquiries relating to a product, order, delivery, return, refund, or warranty, you must contact the relevant seller (brand or curator) directly. Their contact details are included in your order confirmation and/or listed on their storefront page on the platform.
21.4 StyleGrid does not have access to seller order systems or transaction details and cannot assist with tracking, cancellations, product issues, or refund requests. All such matters must be dealt with directly between you and the seller.
21.5 If you are a curator or brand and require assistance with your use of the platform, you can contact the StyleGrid support team at [insert support email/contact information].

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
22.1 If you are a consumer, the laws of England and Wales apply to these terms, although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This means that you can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of another part of the UK in which you live.
22.2 If you are a business customer, these terms and any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with, the terms, their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales. You and we both irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with, these terms, their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
23. General Terms
23.1 You are not allowed to transfer your rights under these terms to anyone without our prior written consent. We may transfer our rights under these terms to another business without your consent, but we will notify you of the transfer and make sure that your rights are not adversely affected as a result.
23.2 If any provision of these terms (or part of any provision) is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the legality, validity and enforceability of any other provision of these terms will not be affected.
23.3 If you breach these terms and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these terms.
23.4 If you are a business customer, any variation to these terms will not be binding unless expressly agreed in writing between you and us.
23.5 If you are a business customer, you and we both agree that these terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your order. You acknowledge that you have not entered into these terms in reliance on any representation or warranty that is not expressly set out in these terms and that you will have no claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation on the basis of any statement in these terms.
